Visiting Puterbaugh Farms

Visitors are always welcome but please call us prior to your visit to make arrangements. Our farm season begins in March with tractors discing the hop yards. We twine the hop fields the first part of April, then begin to train the young vines in May. Hops bloom in mid-June, a time when mother nature plays a major role in the ultimate hop quality. Irrigation and cultivation continue throughout the summer until we begin harvest, which starts in mid-August and lasts about 42 days.

When placing an order online, your credit card details will be encrypted using high-strength 128 bit SSL protection. We use the secure services of our hosting provider, One World Telecommunications. You can click the gold seal at right to confirm OWT's SSL certificate is active.

To help protect your privacy, credit card information is not stored in any Puterbaugh Farms systems.

Shipping

  • For daily shipments, we use UPS Ground shipping. If you have a preferred shipping method, simply call us or put a note in the comments box.
  • We are able to ship overseas. Our preferred shipping method is U.S. Mail, as they are a more economical option. Please note that any shipping quote given does not include any duties or taxes that may be incurred.
  • Time in transit: At most, UPS Ground takes 7 business days to deliver. For specific time and cost, please feel free to call or E-mail us with your order weight & ZIP or postal code.
  • For pallet orders (or LTL shipments) we ship via FedEx Freight, Roadway, Estes Express, and nearly any other carrier that you have an account with.
  • Cherries: All cherry orders are shipped air, via UPS.

Return / Refund Policy

We strive to avoid any problems or miscommnication with our customers' orders. You may even get an E-mail or phone call from us prior to shipment just to follow up or double-check order details.

However, we occasionally make mistakes. If an item arrives that does not match your order please contact us as soon as possible. We like to hear from our customers -- in good times or bad -- and take care of any issues promptly.

Privacy Policy

We do not store any customer information on our web site. We will not rent, sell, or trade your E-mail address with anyone for any reason.
