Visiting Puterbaugh FarmsVisitors are always welcome but please call us prior to your visit to make arrangements. Our farm season begins in March with tractors discing the hop yards. We twine the hop fields the first part of April, then begin to train the young vines in May. Hops bloom in mid-June, a time when mother nature plays a major role in the ultimate hop quality. Irrigation and cultivation continue throughout the summer until we begin harvest, which starts in mid-August and lasts about 42 days. Order Security and FulfillmentWhen placing an order online, your credit card details will be encrypted using high-strength 128 bit SSL protection. We use the secure services of our hosting provider, One World Telecommunications. You can click the gold seal at right to confirm OWT's SSL certificate is active. You may even get an E-mail or phone call from us prior to shipment just to follow up or double-check order details. However, we occasionally make mistakes.
