We had the honors of having the Seattle Times out at the farm earlier this summer, learning the history of Yakima Valley hops, from growing them.... to the very best part, a handcrafted brew.

MLB relief pitcher, pitches hops!! One of our brewing customers, Fremont Brewing, in Seattle, is pitching Seattle Mariners fans a new one, with Chris Ray, a relief pitcher for the major league baseball team, helping out with Operation Homefront and making beer!

It is interesting to see how your industry is going and where you can get to! The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) of the United State Department of Agriculture (USDA) compiles each year a National Hop Report, which can be very informational! Check it out!
